NRA-PVF Chairman lauds Ernst's leadership and says she is the clear choice to defend Second Amendment rights in the U.S. Senate.
Fairfax, Va. – With the strong backing of the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF), Iowa state senator Joni Ernst has secured the Iowa Republican nomination for US Senate. The NRA-PVF endorsed candidate benefited from the organization's renowned and effective get-out-the-vote operation. NRA-PVF Chairman Chris W. Cox issued the following statement congratulating Ernst on her victory:
"On behalf of our 5 million members across the country, we congratulate Joni on her hard fought victory. Joni has consistently opposed all attempts to restrict gun rights and has been a true friend of the Second Amendment. Her proven record of defending our rights has earned her the votes of Iowa's Second Amendment supporters and an 'A' rating from the NRA-PVF. Joni will stand up to the extreme gun control agenda of President Obama and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg."
