Fairfax, Va. — On behalf of our nearly six million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today endorsed Josh Hawley for U.S. Senate in Missouri.
“Josh Hawley is a champion of our Second Amendment freedoms and we can count on him to defend the constitutional rights of law-abiding Americans,” said Chris W. Cox, NRA-PVF chairman.
Hawley strongly opposes the Pelosi/Schumer/Bloomberg gun control agenda and will vote for pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court justices. He supports national concealed carry reciprocity, which will ensure that law-abiding gun owners who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to legally carry concealed across state lines. Additionally, Hawley will vote against legislation that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms between lifelong friends and many family members.
Hawley is challenging Sen. Claire McCaskill, an “F” rated candidate who supports the Pelosi/Schumer gun control agenda. McCaskill supports a ban on commonly owned rifles, voted to deny people on secret government lists their Second Amendment rights without due process, and supported Obama’s backdoor gun ban on Social Security recipients. Additionally, she voted against the confirmation of pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and she opposes the confirmation of pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
