The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Tim Walberg for U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Tim is committed to protecting your gun rights! 

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Voted for the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with valid concealed handgun permits would be able to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty – Signed a letter opposing any international treaty by the United Nations or other global organizations that would impose restrictions on American gun owners as well as cosponsored a concurrent resolution opposing the U.N. gun ban treaty.
• Opposes Washington D.C.’s Gun Ban – Voted for legislation to repeal Washington D.C.’s draconian gun control laws and restore the right of self-defense to law-abiding individuals in our nation’s capital.
• Opposes Operation Choke Point – Voted for legislation that prohibits the Obama Administration from executing an abusive practice, known as Operation Choke Point, in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally operated ammunition and firearms dealers.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Opposes the Clinton/Obama/Bloomberg “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration. 
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act, that benefits sportsmen in Michigan and throughout the country.
• Opposes Semi-Auto Ban – Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting, and self-defense.
• Opposes Ammo Ban – Signed a letter to the Obama Administration opposing its flagrant attempt to ban the most popular and widely used ammunition in America.
• Opposes a Federal Gun Database – Voted to prevent ATF from circumventing the will of Congress by centralizing records of thousands of Americans’ long gun purchases.
• Holder Contempt – Voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress on both criminal and civil charges for the flawed and tragic Fast and Furious scandal.

In contrast, his opponent, Gretchen Driskell, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF. She opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton gun control agenda.
