The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Will Hurd for U.S. House of Representatives in Texas.  Will has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your right to self-defense! 

• Supports Right-to-Carry: Cosponsored Right-to-Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with the legal right to carry concealed would be able to carry their firearm for self-defense in any other state.

• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers: Opposes the Obama/Clinton/Bloomberg “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.

• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage: Voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement (SHARE) Act, a bill that would benefit sportsmen throughout Texas and the country.

• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban: Supports legislation that would protect the Second Amendment rights of millions of law-abiding citizens from bureaucratic abuse by the Obama Administration.

• Opposes Operation Choke Point: Voted for legislation that prohibits the Obama Administration from executing an abusive practice, known as Operation Choke Point, in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally operated ammunition and firearms dealers.

• Opposes Ammo Ban: Signed a letter condemning the Obama administration’s flagrant attempt to ban the most popular and widely used rifle ammunition. 

• Opposes the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty: Opposes any international treaty by the United Nations or any other global organization that would impose restrictions on American gun owners. He signed a letter opposing the Obama administration’s signing of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).

• Opposes Semi-Auto Ban: Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreations shooting, and self-defense.

• Opposes a Federal Gun Database: Opposes ATF circumventing the will of Congress by centralizing records of thousands of Americans’ long gun purchases.

In contrast, his opponent, Pete Gallego, has received a “?” rating from NRA-PVF. He refused to answer the most basic questions regarding the Second Amendment and our fundamental right of self-defense, and he cannot be trusted to stand up to the Obama/Clinton/Bloomberg gun control agenda. 

Will Hurd is the only candidate in this race who has stood strong against the Obama/Clinton/Bloomberg gun control agenda.  That’s why it’s critically important for you to vote Will Hurd for U.S. House of Representatives in Texas’ 23^rd Congressional District on or before Tuesday, November 8^th!
