Fairfax, Va. – On behalf of our five million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Adam Gregg for Attorney General of Iowa in the 2014 general election.
“Adam Gregg will defend the Second Amendment rights of all law-abiding Iowans,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF. “He will oppose expanded licensing and registration schemes and so-called “universal” background checks, which require federal government approval for transferring firearms between life-long friends and family members. In clear contrast, Gregg’s opponent has earned an ‘F’ rating from the NRA for publicly supporting extreme gun control measures. He even went so far as to join a brief in support of New York’s SAFE Act, one of the most anti-gun laws in the country.”
Gregg is committed to ensuring that Iowans have the means to lawfully protect themselves. He also supports legislation to protect the privacy of permit holders from intrusive media outlets. In addition, Gregg is a firm believer in Iowa’s rich hunting heritage as a valuable tool for wildlife management and conservation.
“We can count on Adam Gregg to stand up for our constitutional freedoms in Iowa,” added Cox. “On behalf of the NRA’s five million members, I want to thank Adam for his steadfast support of the Second Amendment and urge all NRA members, gun owners and sportsmen in Iowa to vote Adam Gregg for Attorney General on November 4.”
