Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing State Representative Donald Lehe (R-15) for re-election this November.
"Donald Lehe's steadfast commitment to preserving our Second Amendment freedoms and hunting heritage has earned him the NRA-PVF endorsement," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF. "Representative Lehe will continue to fight for the Second Amendment rights of all law-abiding gun owners in the Hoosier State."
Throughout his tenure in the Indiana House of Representatives, Donald Lehe has consistently supported the right to keep and bear arms, including: voting to protect lawful gun owners from being held liable if their firearms are stolen and later used in a crime; establishing an apprentice hunting license and Indiana's Lifetime Concealed Firearm Permit - the first of its kind in the United States; joining a pro-gun "friend of the court" brief in McDonald v. Chicago, supporting the position that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that protects all Americans; voting to protect the privacy of concealed firearm permit holders; preventing local municipalities from banning or confiscating firearms during a state of emergency; and prohibiting employers from firing employees who lock their firearm in their personal vehicles while at work.
Representative Lehe's commitment to preserving our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage has earned him an "A" rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF.
"Hoosiers value their Second Amendment freedoms, and Donald Lehe is the clear choice to represent them," Cox concluded. "We ask all Indiana gun-owners and hunters in the 15th House District to re-elect Representative Donald Lehe on November 2."
