Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing State Representative Ed Soliday (R-4) for re-election this November.
"Ed Soliday's support for preserving our Second Amendment freedoms has earned him the NRA-PVF endorsement," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF. "We know he will continue to protect the Second Amendment rights of all law-abiding gun owners in the Hoosier State."
During his tenure in the Indiana House of Representatives, Ed Soliday has consistently supported the right to keep and bear arms, including: establishing a hunting apprentice license; signing a pro-gun "friend of the court" brief in McDonald v. Chicago, supporting the position that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that protects all Americans; protecting the privacy of concealed firearm permit holders; preventing local municipalities from banning or confiscating firearms during a state of emergency; and prohibiting employers from firing employees who lock their firearm in their personal vehicles while at work.
Soliday's commitment to preserving our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage has earned him an "A" rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF.
"We ask all Indiana gun-owners and hunters in the 4th House District to re-elect Representative Ed Soliday on November 2", concluded Cox.
